Job Summary:
R2 Technologies is seeking a GCP Architect to design and lead end-to-end Google Cloud Platform solutions. The role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, governance, and collaboration across engineering, DevOps, security, and data teams. The ideal candidate will define best practices, enforce architectural standards, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end GCP solutions aligned with functional and non-functional requirementss
- Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance guardrails.
- Conduct technical design reviews and enforce architecture governance.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and data teams for solution delivery.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud implementations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on GCP services and architecture patterns.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in cloud architecture or enterprise IT solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in cloud architecture design, governance, and best practices.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and scalable system design.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
- GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
