Responsibilities
Conduct raw material analysis and testing using GCMS
Perform water content, pH, and acidity testing
Test solvents for contaminants via GCMS
Troubleshoot laboratory equipment issues
Write detailed testing protocols
Work independently on assigned tasks

Job Title: GCMS Chemist Location: Linden, NJ Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 Work Model: Onsite - onsite Hours: 8 AM- 4:30 PM M-F
Responsibilities • Raw material analysis / testing via GCMS • Water content, pH testing, acidity • Testing solvents via GCMS for contaminants • Equipment troubleshooting • Ability to write protocols • Ability to work independently
Requirements • BS Degree in Chemistry or related science • 5-10 years experience from a cosmetic, personal care, chemical, or chemistry lab environment • Advanced skills with GCMS (5+ years) and ability to work independently • Analytical testing experience (IR, pH, Viscosity, etc.)
