The Global Capability Center (GCC) Engineering Lead/Senior Manager is responsible for shaping engineering capabilities that enable successful GCC design and setup. In this role you will provide engineering expertise across client opportunities, responding to market demand while driving scalable, integrated, and future-ready engineering solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support client origination, sales, and the delivery of GCC setup engagements at headquarters, bringing deep expertise in product engineering, platform engineering, software delivery, and engineering operating models.
- Work closely with solution teams and client stakeholders, define engineering strategies, design scalable product and platform delivery models, and recommend engineering approaches that align with the target operating model and business objectives.
- Help establish modern engineering practices, delivery frameworks, and governance that enable high-quality, efficient, and scalable engineering operations within the GCC.
- Contribute to enterprise transformation programs with impact at HQ, ensuring engineering capabilities support broader business transformation goals and accelerate digital innovation.
- Ability to travel up to 50% is required.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, with significant experience dedicated to Global Capability Center strategy, organization design, operating models, and large-scale business transformation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, product development, or Industry X transformation, including leading and delivering complex cross-functional programs across engineering, operations, technology, and business teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building and scaling engineering organizations, product engineering teams, and global delivery centers within GCC environments, including establishing engineering operating models, delivery excellence frameworks, and innovation-led capabilities.
- Minimum of 1 year leveraging AI-enabled engineering tools, intelligent automation, developer productivity platforms, and data-driven engineering insights to improve innovation, delivery speed, quality, and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, including agile development, cloud-native architectures, automation, DevOps, digital engineering, and software quality engineering.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing engineering governance frameworks, capability-building strategies, and scalable delivery models that drive business value, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and senior business leaders.
