Responsibilities

Tasks
Repair or replace defective machinery parts, Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements

Job Duties:

  • Accomplish the repair and overhaul of General Electric and/or Siemens industrial gas turbines, ensuring that this work is carried out in accordance with the applicable OEM manuals, TCT specifications and procedures, and standard industry practices;
  • Hands on disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and/or assembly of the various product types as required to achieve shop production schedules. Make ongoing work scope recommendations based upon shop floor observations;
  • Work with production control and materials management to facilitate the flow of material through the shop;
  • Deliver high level technical and personal mentorship to less experienced Gas Turbine Technicians within the team;
  • Perform in field maintenance, repairs, and inspections on installed units.
