We are looking for a highly motivated Gas Distribution Inspector to provide leadership and inspect gas construction projects in the NYC region. This is a great opportunity for experienced gas mechanics to demonstrate their leadership and advance their career. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities adhere to company standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices. This position is crucial for upholding the safety and integrity of gas distribution systems in the region. The pay rate varies based on experience and OQs. Responsibilities $46 Qualifications • Have prior experience and training in excavation, road, or utility construction with an emphasis on plastic pipe installation. Inspectors will be required to oversee construction projects on Underground Distribution and other types of utility projects. • Have a minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience. • An Inspector may be required to oversee multiple construction projects at varying stages at one time (from design to completed final folder closeout). • An Inspector must possess managerial skills, computer literacy, and a working knowledge of the utility industry. • We will assist with necessary OQ requirements and career advancement.
