Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in functional safety engineering for automotive embedded systems.
• Expertise in ISO 26262 work-products like HARA, FSC, SRS, and FTA.
• Proficiency in MagicDraw, SysML, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with GitHub-based collaboration tools.
• Strong Python scripting skills for analysis and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key Functional Safety documentation such as HARA and SRS.
• Conduct impact analyses for Body features, articulating safety implications.
• Develop Gherkin scenarios in collaboration with Feature Systems Engineers.
• Refine requirements and maintain traceability throughout development.
• Facilitate the review and closure of Functional Safety actions with substantiating evidence.
