Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Fullstack Technical Lead with 12+ years of development experience to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications. The role requires approximately 70% focus on React frontend development and 30% on Java backend development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React, JavaScript or TypeScript, reusable UI components, state management, and responsive interfaces, complemented by practical experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and backend integration. The Technical Lead will guide an onshore-offshore development team, own technical delivery, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery partners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for translating business needs into technical solutions, explaining design decisions, and maintaining alignment across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead full-stack development with approximately 70% focus on React frontend development and 30% on Java backend services, contributing directly to complex features and technical problem-solving.
• Lead the design and development of scalable React applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, reusable components, state management, responsive interfaces, and API integrations.
• Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot services, implement RESTful APIs, and support secure and reliable integration between frontend applications and backend systems.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs, implementation tasks, estimates, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business analysts and architects.
• Guide a distributed onshore-offshore development team, establish clear ownership, coordinate work across time zones, and ensure effective handoffs and consistent engineering practices.
• Partner with project managers, product owners, and QA teams to plan sprint commitments, manage technical dependencies, resolve blockers, and communicate delivery risks promptly.
• Apply Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives across onshore-offshore teams.
• Conduct design and code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote unit testing, integration testing, secure coding, and maintainable application design.
• Diagnose issues across frontend and backend layers, improve application performance, and support root-cause analysis and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automated quality checks, environment readiness, and reliable deployments.
• Mentor developers through knowledge-sharing sessions and practical guidance on Java, React, debugging, and design practices.
• Facilitate technical discussions, explain complex concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences, and provide concise updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
• Maintain technical designs, API documentation, and operational guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve development practices and onshore-offshore collaboration.
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with React frontend development, accounting for approximately 70% of the role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, reusable UI components, state management, responsive interfaces, and API integrations.
• Practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and backend integration.
• Experience leading full-stack development and delivering enterprise applications.
• Experience guiding distributed onshore-offshore development teams and coordinating work across time zones.
• Experience translating business and functional requirements into technical designs, implementation tasks, estimates, and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience delivering software in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of coding standards, unit testing, integration testing, secure coding, and maintainable application design.
• Experience with application performance optimization, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated quality checks, and deployment practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and maintain stakeholder alignment.
