Full Job Description
Administers radiation therapy treatments with precision and accuracy, ensuring the treatment plan is consistently and safely reproduced each day. Monitors patient positioning and treatment delivery, making necessary adjustments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and maintain the highest standards of patient care
Salary
$40-$52.52 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience
Job Requirements
1. Education: Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed Radiation Therapist in NYS
2. Experience: Satisfactory completion of formal radiation therapy technology education from an accredited program.
3. License/Certification Eligibility: Must be New York State licensed or qualified to be licensed. If qualified to be licensed the validation of a degree in a radiation therapy program as well as a temporary NYS license and ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy must be provided. Must become licensed in NYS before temporary license expires. American HeartAssociationBLS CPR Certification required. ARRT Certification preferred.
