Position SummaryThe PA-C or NP will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is committed to excellent patient care, strong clinical communication, teamwork, and evidence-based medicine.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct primary care services to adult patients within the provider's scope and credentials
- Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
- Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
- Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when appropriate
- Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based treatment plans
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
- Maintain quality, compliance, and patient-safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team
QualificationsEducation- MSN or DNP for Nurse Practitioners (NP-C or NP-BC), or
- MPAS or equivalent accredited Physician Assistant education (PA-C)
Licensure- Current, clear, and unrestricted California license
- Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain as required
Experience- 1+ year of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred, but not required
- Leadership experience preferred, but not required
