Sr. Full Stack Java Engineer
What You'll Do- Full Stack Development: AI-first approach to developing application solutions across the platform.
- Requirements Analysis & Solution Design:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to other developers, and help build a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
- Technology Research & Evaluation: Stay current on emerging trends and evaluate new technologies to decide whether and when they should be added to the platform.
- System Maintenance & Security: Keep applications and systems well-maintained, secure, and up to date
- Infrastructure Improvement:
Must Haves:
- Strong Java (core skill - screen for this first).
- Full stack: React preferred; Angular OK if they can pick up React.
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS preferred, GCP acceptable).
- Staff: 10-15 yrs.
- Excellent attention to detail and numeric accuracy; follows assignment instructions thoroughly.
- Uses AI coding tools (refusing to use AI is a showstopper).
- Strong, scalable design skills; a role model who won't add tech debt.
Nice to Haves:
- FinTech, especially reporting and public/private investing; private equity ideal (competitor experience a big plus).
