Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced Full Stack / Salesforce Engineer to help guide the continued growth and stability of our enterprise Salesforce ecosystem. This role blends hands on, full stack Salesforce development with technical leadership - mentoring team members, shaping engineering best practices, and helping ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and built to last.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and fellow engineers to translate business needs into reliable, high quality Salesforce solutions. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys writing code as much as they enjoy helping others grow - someone who can move fluidly between building features, reviewing pull requests, and advising partners on the art of the possible within Salesforce.
This position is required in one of the following locations: Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Lead full stack development across multiple Salesforce initiatives, writing clean, maintainable Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce code
. Build reusable components and integrations (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, async processing) that scale with the business
. Mentor developers through code reviews, pairing, and hands on coaching
. Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes using GitLab and Salesforce DX
. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to performance and data integrity
. Partner with stakeholders to scope work, estimate effort, and plan technical roadmaps for large initiatives
. Stay current on new Salesforce releases and bring forward capabilities that move the platform forward
. Contribute to internal playbooks, onboarding docs, and reusable patterns for the wider Salesforce practice
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years experience building on the Salesforce platform, with a strong grip on Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow
. Comfortable leading or mentoring other developers - you've done code reviews, paired with junior engineers, or run design/tech discussions
. Know your way around Salesforce data modeling, security/sharing rules, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, async processing)
. Have worked in Agile/Scrum teams and are used to sprint ceremonies, grooming, and planning
. Track record of shipping quality releases on tight timelines and owning your deliverables end to end
. Hands on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud
. Familiar with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools to speed up day to day development
Desired Skillset:
. Experience working in AWS integrated environments alongside Salesforce
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $123,200.00.
