Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a Scrum team focused on developing next-generation workflow tools and REST APIs for document-centric processes. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that enable internal and external integration partners to access document workflows across multiple systems and backend repositories. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience, expertise in RESTful API design and development, and hands-on experience with AWS, cloud-based applications, and modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain functional software deliverables across sprints and releases.
• Design, develop, and enhance RESTful APIs, including API contracts and core API functionality.
• Participate in application-level architecture and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Develop original and creative technical solutions to address ongoing development challenges.
• Follow software development best practices and established engineering procedures.
• Ensure software deliverables are ready for quality assurance through end-to-end testing, unit testing, and test automation.
• Support the implementation of projects of moderate scope and major technical initiatives.
• Work on complex assignments involving multiple phases of project development.
• Assist in developing departmental technical policies and procedures.
• Contribute to project planning and help establish project plans for initiatives of moderate scope.
• Collaborate with Scrum team members and integration partners to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6-9+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, including API contract design and core API development.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and cloud-based development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with Git, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Python, Shell scripting, JSON, and Copilot.
• Experience with cloud databases such as DynamoDB or Amazon RDS.
• Experience developing serverless applications and applications using Amazon EKS.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of JavaScript development experience.
• Experience with Angular.
