About the RoleYou'll work directly with our cofounder and own major pieces of how AI shows up in DoorDash's products. In this role, you will build complete product experiences end-to-end, including web and mobile frontends, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines, that turn AI agent capabilities into polished, reliable features. You'll partner closely with researchers to take prototypes to production, build internal tools that speed up iteration, and design systems that hold up under real-world traffic. This is hands-on work with immediate product impact at real-world scale.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Work directly with leadership and see your work shipped to millions of users, with a small team and massive reach.
- Move fast without bureaucracy, with rapid iteration, high autonomy, and no layers of politics.
- Own features across the entire stack, from UI to infrastructure, rather than a narrow slice.
- Have access to global data scale, robust compute, and a platform primed for AI transformation.
- Shape how AI transforms commerce, building intelligent and adaptive experiences for Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers.
We're excited about you because you have...- Strong full stack engineering experience, with depth in modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, TypeScript) and backend development (e.g. Python, Go, Kotlin, or Java).
- Experience designing and shipping production systems, including APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and performance.
- A track record of shipping user-facing products quickly and iterating based on real usage.
- Interest in AI and familiarity with integrating LLMs or AI APIs into products (prior agent or ML experience is a plus, not a requirement).
- A builder mindset: you're energized by experimentation, move quickly, and stay close to the work.
- Strong cross-functional instincts and a natural ability to bridge product, design, and research.
