What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join our team supporting a multi-year Federal contract. The developer will be a key member of an Agile/Scrum team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases. Knowledge of Servlets and JSPs would be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL and Angular with solid troubleshooting and design skills, the ability to independently deliver assignments, and preferably experience with legacy modernization and experience with IBM software (WAS & IHS).
In this role, you will work across multiple application layers, diagnose and resolve production issues, contribute actionable feedback during code reviews, and collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable application enhancements.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience and 6+ years of software/application development experience, mainly within Java & within the Spring ecosystem including: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA/Hibernate
REST APIs
Strong front-end development experience with Angular and strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services.
Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
Experience with JSON and XML.
Strong experience with Apache Maven, including pom.xml configuration, dependency management, plugins, profiles, build lifecycle, and packaging/deployment.
Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development.
Understanding software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with legacy application modernization
Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000. The actual salary will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
