Job DescriptionFull Stack Developer, EVAAS - Hybrid, Cary, North Carolina As a Full Stack Developer on the SAS EVAAS (Education Visualization and Analytics System) team, you will get in on the ground floor of a new identity solution that will shape the future of secure customer access to EVAAS applications. In this role, you will work across the application stack to build secure, reliable, user-centered web applications, with a particular focus on identity management, authentication, authorization, and single sign-on capabilities that make a difference for students, educators, and the organizations we serve.
As a Full Stack Developer, EVAAS, you will: - Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack features for an Identity Solution across front-end, back-end, API, and database layers.
- Build and enhance secure authentication and authorization workflows, including single sign-on integrations for customer-facing applications.
- Work with identity management systems and standards such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect to support scalable and repeatable access patterns.
- Collaborate with product, security, DevOps, and engineering teammates to deliver a highly reliable Identity Solution with strong SLA expectations that enables customer connectivity to the EVAAS reporting application.

Required qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering web-based applications.
- Experience with full stack development, including front-end technologies, back-end services, APIs, and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Java.
- Experience with identity management systems, authentication, authorization, and single sign-on concepts.
- Familiarity with SAML-based integrations and related identity standards such as OAuth or OpenID Connect.
- Experience using version control systems and collaborative software development practices.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

- Experience with JavaScript, front-end frameworks, or modern web application development practices.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database platforms.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience documenting technical decisions, integration patterns, processes, and code.
