Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist Fuels Management with the daily operation of the fuels section and assigned personnel.

Job Duties:

• Operates and maintains fuel storage and distribution systems and equipment
• Receives, samples, stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines and tank trucks
• Operates and maintains a high pressure LN2/GN2 conversion facility, distribution system and equipment
• Assign overtime as required in the absence of the Terminal Manager
• It is a condition of employment to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy
• Participation in functional specific safety training
• Perform other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL) operations, commercial bulk fuel handling, or military fuels logistics.
• Must be a graduate of the AF Fuels Apprentice Course J3ABR2F03100AB or sister service equivalent.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to comprehend technical orders, safety directives, and emergency procedures in a high-hazard fuel storage or testing environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Stat Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and maintain authorized user access to the AEDC local area network.
• S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract compliance requirements and the necessity to access secure federal databases and networks on Arnold Air Force Base.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience working on a government contract

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount BNH is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time jobs will be adjusted based upon the number of hours agreed to work.
