FT FNP - North Star - Anchorage, AK

Qualifications

• FNP or PA-C certification required.
• Alaska APRN license or ability to obtain one.
• Board certified by ANCC, AANPCB, or NCCPA.
• Preferred experience in inpatient, acute care, or behavioral/mental health settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission histories and physicals (H&Ps) for patients.
• Perform follow-up assessments and medical consultations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing staff.
• Manage the medical needs of inpatient behavioral health patients.
• Provide education to patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
