Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers through coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development planning sessions.
- Support hiring efforts, including interviewing, onboarding, and retaining top engineering talent.
Technical Leadership- Define and enforce frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
- Guide the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications.
- Review code, provide technical feedback, and ensure software quality.
- Drive adoption of modern frontend technologies and development methodologies.
Project & Delivery Management- Partner with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to define requirements and deliver features on schedule.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and sprint execution.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and delivery bottlenecks.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of frontend initiatives.
Collaboration & Process Improvement- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and deployment workflows.
- Monitor application performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Drive Agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience building scalable and responsive web applications.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, performance optimization, and web accessibility.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend services.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based deployment environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience managing distributed or remote engineering teams.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and modern software delivery methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
