Duties:
- Creating Figma plugins to streamline work between design and development
- Working with designers to implement new site features, responsiveness, and functionality to our documentation websites (Storybook and WordPress Gutenberg)
- Researching and implementing best technology solutions based on current industry trends and project requirements
- Implementing an optimized process that integrates GitHub repositories consisting of React UI components and Figma libraries
- Transferring data between CMS platforms
- Ensuring optimized performance for WordPress sites and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Building strong relationships across different business units and functions
- Suggest improvements from a customer-backed mindset to set up environments that improve our product team creativity and velocity Are comfortable experimenting, iterating and adapting to new directions
- Have a solid track record of planning and finishing tasks on time
- Have great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Use a design-thinking process to solve problems and implement solutions
- Obsess about delivering polished and considerate customer experiences
Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development
- An expert in front-end development, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and GitHub API
- Familiarity with Style Dictionary or other design token management tools
- Experience with Javascript frameworks like React and Angular.js
- Strong understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, and website performance
- Knowledge in user-centered design and design thinking process
- Nice to have: familiarity with Storybook, building components with TypeScript, WordPress integration, design tool plugin experience
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
