Job Description:IERUS Technologies is seeking a FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to join a diverse and flexible team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in design and analysis and SDR experience.
Position Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and test FPGA-based HDL and firmware
- Support all phases of system and subsystem development activities with upfront analysis, prototyping, development, and validation
- Hand-on lab testing of hardware
- Acquisition and analysis of laboratory data
- Work with/lead a small team of embedded developers to coordinate development capability to meet component development milestones.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- 3+ years of experience with relevant firmware development
- Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL for FPGA-based designs
- Proficiency in C/C++ in embedded environments
- Familiar with test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes) and software debugging tools
- Experience in I2C, SPI, RS-232, or other standard communication interfaces
- Experience working on embedded devices for RF projects preferred
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications:- Active Top Secret DoD security clearance
