FP&A Manager
Accelerate Performance.
About the Role
CAI Software is seeking a FP&A Manager to join our Finance teamYou'll be a senior member of a small, high-visibility FP&A team, owning planning, forecasting, and analysis for one or more business units. You'll partner directly with GMs and functional leaders and produce the numbers that go to our CFO, our Board, and our sponsor. This is a hands-on role. You'll build the models, own the story behind them, and help us modernize how FP&A works.
What You'll Do
Own BU-level planning and forecasting: annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly outlook for assigned business units, with clear bridges from budget to forecast to actuals
Partner with business leaders: act as the finance voice to Department Leads like Sales, Services, and Product, translating drivers (bookings, renewals, headcount, pricing) into P&L and cash impact
Support monthly close and reporting: review actuals, drive flux and BvA commentary, and work with Accounting to resolve variances and classification questions
Support and maintain operating models: bookings and ARR, headcount and compensation, revenue and billings, and EBITDA-to-cash flow bridges
Prepare Board and sponsor materials: produce accurate, concise, numbers-first analysis for quarterly Board packs and ad hoc sponsor requests
Support M&A and strategic initiatives: data translation, integration planning, and pro forma financial reporting for acquisitions
Contribute to planning-system transformation: help define processes, templates, and reporting as we move from Excel to PBCS
Apply AI to how the team works: use AI tools to speed up analysis, commentary, reconciliation, and reporting, and help the team build repeatable, well-controlled workflows
What We're Looking For
Required
5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally in SaaS or software, with 2+ years in a manager or senior analyst role with meaningful ownership

Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or comparable ERP) for actuals, reporting, and data pulls
Hands-on experience with Salesforce for pipeline, bookings, and renewals data
Proven cross-functional partnership with Sales, Accounting, HR, and executive leadership
Clear, concise communicator who can brief a CFO or Board member in a few sentences and back it up with the detail
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Preferred
Experience in a PE-backed environment, including sponsor reporting and lender or Board deliverables
Experience with M&A, including diligence support, integration, and pro forma modeling
Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency reporting
Demonstrated use of AI in your finance workflow.
