Full Job Description
Join as a founding software engineer and build the systems that connect materials, equipment, and production decisions. You will shape the architecture and product direction of a new platform, turning physical operations into useful data and reliable software.
What you will do
• Build full-stack tools for supply chain, pricing, quoting, inventory, and production operations.
• Design backend systems and data models that represent real manufacturing processes.
• Develop simulation capabilities using production data to model physical behavior.
• Integrate equipment telemetry, robotics, and factory automation into operational software.
• Work with hardware and automation engineers to define problems, choose priorities, and ship complete solutions.
• Own product outcomes and improve systems through direct feedback from their users.
Requirements
What we are looking for
• At least two years of experience shipping production software as a full-stack or product engineer.
• A record of independently delivering high-quality products at a fast-growing startup.
• Strong TypeScript skills and backend experience with Python or Go.
• Sound judgment in data modeling, architecture, and understanding user needs.
• Initiative and the ability to work through ambiguity, set goals, and move quickly.
• Eligibility to work on ITAR-controlled projects and willingness to work onsite in Los Angeles full time. Visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Bonus points
• Experience with manufacturing systems, industrial automation, or hardware.
• Familiarity with CAD, computational geometry, simulation, or 3D environments.
• Experience as an early or founding engineer, or building a product used by real customers.

• Base salary: $140K-$200K.
