Full Job Description
About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at AirOps, you'll work directly with enterprise clients to turn AI search and growth strategy into measurable outcomes. You'll use the AirOps platform to configure, adapt, and scale playbooks that help leading brands stay visible and competitive as discovery shifts across AI search engines.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who likes being close to the customer, the product, and the impact. You'll partner across Product, Customer Success, Sales, Growth, and Marketing to deliver repeatable client outcomes, bring field feedback back into the platform, and help shape a more mature delivery motion as AirOps scales.

What you'll own
  • Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand their goals, translate them into clear delivery plans, and drive measurable outcomes across AI search visibility and growth
  • Configure, adapt, and scale AirOps playbooks across customer accounts and verticals, helping turn repeatable delivery patterns into stronger product and service motions
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Sales, Growth, and Marketing to align customer needs, product capabilities, and expansion opportunities
  • Monitor performance data, identify trends and risks, and communicate recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Bring field feedback back into the product and delivery teams to improve the AirOps platform, customer experience, and future playbooks

What you'll bring
  • 4 to 7 years in Growth, BizOps, Product, Technical Account Management, Analytics, Solutions, Customer Success, or a similar role at a high-growth startup
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers, translating business goals into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, or automation platforms to improve processes and scale repeatable work
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify patterns, and turn insights into recommendations
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to keep internal teams and customers aligned across multiple workstreams
  • High ownership, strong judgment, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where customer needs, product feedback, and delivery priorities intersect

Nice to haves
  • Familiarity with AI search, GEO/AEO strategy, or how brands are discovered across LLMs and answer engines
  • Comfort working with data from tools like Google Search Console and GA4
  • Experience at an early or growth-stage B2B SaaS company
  • Experience turning customer feedback into product recommendations, internal documentation, or enablement materials
Our Guiding Principles
  1. Extreme Ownership
  2. Quality
  3. Curiosity and Play
  4. Make Our Customers Heroes
  5. Respectful Candor
Benefits
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Parental Leave
  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
