Parts Manager to lead and shape our department.
The successful candidate can expect to earn a compensation package of salary plus bonus of $75,000 to $90,000 annuallyOur ideal candidate is a Ford-experienced parts professional that is a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, support their team, and drive continuous improvement throughout the department.
Parts Manager Responsibilities:- Lead the daily operations of the Parts Department while driving performance and accountability
- Train, coach and mentor employees on industry best practices and provide advice and guidance to improve performance
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors; ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Optimize inventory levels, parts programs, returns and purchasing strategies
- Analyze sales, expenses and inventory to maintain profit goals
- Work with technicians, retail and wholesale customers to determine, select and locate correct parts for their requirements
- Order parts and provide information such as function, price, application and warranty to customers
- Solicit new retail and wholesale customers and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Collaborate with the Service and Sales Department to ensure accurate and timely turn-around of parts and accessories
- Performs other tasks and duties as required
Qualifications: - 3-5+ years of progressive automotive parts experience, with preference given to those with prior Ford parts experience
- Strong leadership ability and teambuilding skills to effectively motivate, inspire and manage employees
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with a continuous improvement pedigree
- Results driven with exceptional planning, organization and execution skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Red seal parts certification is strongly preferred
