Full Job Description
As a Floor Trader, you will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to build your understanding of our products, markets, and approach to trading. You will split your time between the Cboe trading floor and DRW's trading desk, gaining exposure to both floor-based and voice trading while developing the skills needed to take on increasing responsibility. You will work closely with experienced traders and brokers to understand market dynamics, evaluate trading activity, and improve the tools used to support real-time analysis and decision-making.

  • Contribute directly as a Floor Trader at DRW, building market knowledge and trading judgment through hands-on experience
  • Analyze order flow, trading activity, and broker behavior to identify patterns and potential trading opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance tools, models, algorithms, and systems that support trading analysis, visualization, and risk management
  • Partner with traders and engineering teams to define requirements and help develop market-beating trading tools
  • Monitor market activity and communicate timely, relevant market information to other team members
  • Research new market opportunities and contribute ideas to the team
  • Take on increasing ownership of trading decisions and risk as your knowledge and experience grow

What you bring to the team...
  • A bachelor's in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science or any related field and have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and a desire to build a career in trading
  • The ability to make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to interact effectively with traders, brokers, and other market participants
  • A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedback
  • Prior trading or financial-markets experience is helpful but not required
  • Proficiency in python is a plus

The annual base salary for this position is $200,000. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
