WHAT YOU'LL DOAs an Air Ambulance team member, you'll be an essential part of a highly skilled aeromedical crew, responding to critical medical emergencies and performing patient transports in fixed-wing aircraft. Working closely with nurses, physicians, and pilots, you'll deliver advanced pre-hospital and interfacility critical care.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Deliver advanced patient care in high-stakes environments, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and obstetric emergencies.
- Perform aeromedical evacuations (medevacs) and stabilize patients for transport.
- Conduct patient assessments and initiate critical interventions per medical protocols.
- Prepare & maintain medical equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Communicate effectively with hospitals, dispatch, and aircrew to coordinate care.
- Participate in ongoing training & simulations to enhance emergency response skills.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR•
Registered Advanced Care Paramedic or Critical Care Paramedic(Registered in Canada)
•
3+ years of emergency, flight, or experience•
Air Ambulance experience (preferred but not required)
•
Strong leadership, communication, and adaptability skills•
Valid CPR, ACLS, ITLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications (Instructor status is a bonus!)
•
Ability to work in high-pressure, remote, and unpredictable environments•
