Qualifications

• Proven fleet or heavy diesel mechanic experience, preferably with trucks and forklifts.
• Strong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to execute preventive maintenance and conduct both minor and major repairs.
• Familiarity with industry diagnostic tools and software.
• Valid driver's license required for role.
• Proficient in computer skills and capable of effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team under pressure.
• Must possess personal tools and show willingness to attend required training.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of company vehicles including trucks and forklifts.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues in diesel engines and various vehicle systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and thorough inspections of the fleet.
• Complete required 90-day BIT inspections and associated paperwork.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ensure repairs are performed to OEM specifications and maintain meticulous records.
• Uphold safety protocols while maintaining an organized work environment.
• Engage in paid training sessions as necessary.
