Full Job Description
This position is in support of the Commander, US Pacific Fleet (CPF) Fleet and Joint Exercises Division (CPF N37). Primary position responsibilities are as follows:

- Support N37 daily operations thru creation of info papers, exercise
overview briefs, exercise calendar coordination and command history inputs.

- Coordinate planning efforts for US Pacific Fleet and Subordinate Navy unit
participation in assigned Fleet and Joint Exercises.

- Represent US Navy interests during exercise planning conferences.

- Coordinate funding for assigned exercise planning conferences and exercise
execution.

- Apprise Commander, US Pacific Fleet regarding US Navy participation in all
Fleet and Joint exercises throughout assigned region.

- Generate and/or review required information products on US Navy exercises;
coordinate with component commands Subordinate commands, and other CPF N
Codes to gather required information.

- Plan, coordinate and budget US Navy participation in planning conferences
and execution for assigned exercises.

- Develop and draft trip reports.

- Coordinate Joint Manning Document (JMD) for assigned exercises.

- Contribute to drafting of objectives, themes and messages for assigned
exercises.

- Coordinate list of participating US Navy and partner nations Navy forces.

- Coordinate with INDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, USARPAC, PACAF, SOCPAC and
subordinate units for planning and execution of assigned exercises.

- Draft and present the overview briefings to the Commander for assigned
exercises.

- Represent PACFLT during the Basic and Detailed Concept briefings to
INDOPACOM J37 for assigned exercises.

- Contribute US Navy input to exercise Quicklook Reports, Joint Lessons
Learned Reports, Exercise Summary Reports, Initiating Directives, Exercise
Directives, Significant Military Exercise Briefs (SMEBs), Information
Papers.

- Applicants must possess or be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Applicants must be willing to travel internationally and be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Prior U.S. Navy service in USINDOPACOM AOR preferred but not required.
