Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field; Master's or CFA preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in fixed income trading, focusing on IG, High Yield, CLOs, or Bank Loans.
• Proficient in trading and portfolio platforms like Bloomberg, Aladdin, and MarketAxess.
• Strong grasp of credit portfolio management and credit analysis.
• Familiarity with interest rate futures and credit derivatives (CDX) is advantageous.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mentality towards idea generation and process enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement trading strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
• Act as a capable market-maker using relative value frameworks.
• Execute orders while adhering to best execution and risk management standards.
• Engage in trading across both new issue and secondary markets within fixed income asset classes.
• Contribute insights to portfolio positioning and trading strategies.
• Create and convey market narratives demonstrating asset class and macroeconomic expertise.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts for sector and security selection recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal clients, brokers, and market participants.
