Description
Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer.
Responsibilities- Design fire suppression and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Demonstrates proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Possess a solid technical base with desire to learn, lead, and grow into Senior Engineer and Project Management positions.
- Prioritizes effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
- Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally
Education and Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering.
- Four years' experience in the consulting business, including water-based extinguishing systems, fire alarm and massnotification, smoke control, and special hazards systems.
