Your key responsibilities:

As a Senior in our SAP Financial Services practice, you are expected to be able to act as a team lead in terms of your understanding of the SAP module in your focus and your ability to lead practitioners throughout the creation and successful delivery of work products. You will be a critical member of the team working with our program leads and key subject matter advisors (SMA) to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive solution will be delivered on-time and on-budget to the utmost satisfaction of our clients.

Skills and attributes for success:

On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution. Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Ideal candidates for this role will have the following skills and attributes:
  • 3+ years of work experience, including 1+ year of system implementation execution including experience with the full system development lifecycle delivery
  • Experience with coordinating within the team environment both onsite offshore / global delivery
  • Understanding and hands on usage of AI based delivery capabilities for configuration and code development acceleration (e.g. SAP Joule, Microsoft Copilot, AI Claude and/or proprietary AI capabilities)
  • Previous experience with S/4 HANA financial application modules and supporting reporting capabilities (e.g. SAC reporting, BEX, BW4/ HANA)
  • Hands on experience in S4 configuration and programming skills like CDS views
  • Design and develop SAP Analysis Office workbooks, reports to meet business needs using SAP Analysis Office
  • At least 1-2 years hands-on experience with at least one or more SAP module/application such as FICO, AP, AR, Group Reporting/BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning
  • Previous exposure to process design and mapping, with a strong understanding of deployment methodologies (ideally agile)
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
  • Undergraduate / Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field
  • Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience in SAP implementations
  • SAP Certification in the finance modules
  • Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module
  • A willingness to work in EY offices averaging 3 days per week and travel as needed to client project sites - estimated at 25-30%

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
