Guidehouse is seeking a highly motivated consultant to join our Commercial Financial Services Advisory practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading financial institutions to address complex business challenges, drive transformational initiatives, and deliver strategic solutions that create measurable client value.

As Consultant/Senior Consultant/Managing Consultant, you will support multiple client engagements across the financial services sector, partnering with stakeholders to improve operations, strengthen risk and compliance programs, and execute business transformation initiatives. Successful candidates are intellectually curious, client-focused, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Support and lead client engagements within banking, insurance, capital markets, fintechs, and other areas of the financial services industry covering risk management, compliance, operations, and business transformation.

  • Analyze complex business challenges and develop actionable recommendations and client-focused solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.

  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with client leadership and project teams.

  • Manage workstreams, deliverables, timelines, and project risks across multiple engagements.

  • Develop business cases, operational strategies, process improvement recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client objectives and evolving business needs.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency improvements, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, market research, business development support, people management, and proposal activities.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Three(3) to Ten(10) Years of experience.

  • Experience in financial services (inclusive of banking, insurance, capital markets), consulting, advisory services, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems and work effectively in ambiguous environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience managing projects, workstreams, or client deliverables.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience working for a large financial institution, such as a large regional bank, national bank, or Global Systemically Important Bank (G-SIB).

  • Prior experience with a management consulting, advisory, or Big Four consulting organization.

  • Experience supporting:

  • Experience building programs, processes, or operational frameworks from inception through implementation.

The annual salary range for this position is $107,000.00-$178,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
