Job PurposeWe are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead global financial reporting, ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS, and deliver accurate, timely financial insights to leadership. This role plays a critical part in strengthening reporting processes, supporting business decisions, and leading key transformation initiatives, including ERP (SAP S/4HANA), consolidation systems (OneStream), and IFRS adoption. This role plays a key part in modernizing financial reporting and supporting global transformation initiatives.
Travel RequirementsUp to 15%.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Compliance- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual Global financial reporting processes
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and support IFRS readiness and adoption
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
- Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls (SOX compliance)
Consolidation & Technical Accounting- Manage multi-entity consolidations, including foreign currency translation
- Provide guidance on technical accounting matters (e.g., revenue recognition, leases)
- Partner with worldwide Komatsu accounting teams to ensure consistent application and creation of Global Accounting policies
Business Insights & Analysis- Deliver variance analysis and performance insights to Senior Leadership
- Support Company wide executive reporting and presentation of financial results
- Collaborate with FP&A to ensure alignment between reporting and planning
Systems & Transformation- Support and help lead finance transformation initiatives, including:
- SAP S/4HANA implementation
- OneStream (or equivalent) consolidation system deployment
- IFRS adoption and reporting alignment
- Drive improvements in reporting automation, data quality, and system integration
Process Improvement & Controls- Enhance global reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve data integrity
Leadership & Collaboration- Lead and develop team members, driving performance and accountability
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and global finance teams
- Influence stakeholders across a matrix organization
Required Skills- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience
- Strong experience with consolidations and multi-entity reporting
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to IFRS
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- CPA or equivalent certification
Desired Skills- Experience with financial consolidation tools (e.g., OneStream)
- Experience supporting ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA)
- Background in global or multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools
