Lead Mission-Critical Programs Supporting the U.S. Navy

Join a team dedicated to advancing the mission of the U.S. Navy by delivering innovative Business Intelligence (BI), data analytics, and program management solutions that directly support Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic. We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Subject Matter Expert to lead high-impact initiatives that strengthen decision-making, financial management, and operational readiness across the Department of the Navy. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned expert with extensive experience applying their financial expertise to guide complex Department of Defense (DoD) C4ISR acquisition programs, business intelligence initiatives, and multidisciplinary technical teams.

About the Program

Our team supports Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, the Navy's premier organization for delivering secure and innovative Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities. As part of this mission, the Financial Management SME will provide technical expertise to efforts supporting the Business Intelligence Environment (BIE), a mission-critical enterprise platform that integrates business analytics, financial planning, and program management data to provide predictive and prescriptive decision support across NIWC Atlantic.

The successful candidate will lead teams responsible for:
  • Advanced business and financial analytics
  • Enterprise reporting and dashboard development
  • Financial reviews and budget analysis
  • Metrics development and performance assessments


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of complex DoD Business Intelligence and analytics programs supporting NIWC Atlantic.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering business, financial, and programmatic support services.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, risk management, staffing, and contract performance.
  • Direct business analytics initiatives supporting predictive and prescriptive decision-making.


Education: Technical Training in Business and Financial Management.

Experience:
• Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience with Business and Financial Management, to include three

(3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
• Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in interpreting and applying fiscal law and associated regulations.

Specific experience:
• Twenty (20) years of extensive DoD and/or DoN BUS-FM direct work experience, to include: Expert demonstrate leadership skills in researching and interpreting new or updated BUS-FM laws, policies and regulations supporting customers with complex problem solving or decision support and providing recommendations at a strategic level for BUS-FM products, processes, and training.
