Full Job Description
THE WORK
The role provides program leadership with essential financial visibility through earned value reporting, budget execution, and cost performance analysis. These responsibilities enable informed decision-making, support compliance with financial and contractual requirements, and help identify forecast risks and resource needs. Additionally, the role contributes to maintaining reporting accuracy, minimizing compliance issues, and supporting an effective business rhythm across the program. Lead Earned Value Management (EVM) activities for multiple CLINS, ensuring data integrity, timely reporting, and variance analysis that drives program decisions.
FP&A deliverables including monthly OSEC forecasts, Long-range Planning, Risk & Opportunity (R&O) assessments, CSR's, and balance-sheet reviews. Develop and maintain financial baselines for proposals, generate Basis-of-Estimate (BOE) models, support monthly billing and track cost versus funding on CPFF and CPIF contracts.
Provide actionable financial insights to program leadership through cost performance reports, trend analysis, and variance explanations that enable informed resource allocation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers, engineering leads, and contract specialists to align financial outcomes with technical milestones and contractual obligations.

Basic Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience in Program Finance Roles with understanding of financial concepts, including cost accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel/PowerPoint, SAP, Hyperion, Cobra, GenBOE

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and levels in the organization.

Desired Skills

Experience with CPFF, CPIF and FFP contract types and cost-sensitivity analysis as relates to meeting ROS commits.
Experience in multiple functional disciplines and/or programs (program finance, pricing/estimating, FP&A, scheduling, contracts, billing, etc.)
Ability to lead process-improvement or automation projects that enhance reporting efficiency.

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 - $168200.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $81500.00 - $151300.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $72500.00 - $134600.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $65200.00 - $121200.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
