Full Job Description
What will you do?

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our financial planning, cost controlling and reporting. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced analytics, and help drive meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Core Financial Responsibilities
  • Be the financial partner to the department leader and prepare monthly cost center reviews with to help them manage and optimize their budgets.
  • Assist in developing the annual budget and forecast, analyzing actual results versus plan, prior periods, and business drivers.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of journal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and cost-management programs led by the FP&A team.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and other business teams to gather, validate, and interpret financial information.

Sales & Planning Support
  • Respond to Sales team reporting needs, including requests related to sales planning and performance.
  • Contribute to the annual target-setting process using global and local planning tools.

Process Improvements in Finance & Accounting
  • Enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of month-end close and reporting through AI and process automation, reducing manual work and streamlining routine tasks.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to digitalize and automate Finance processes, improving efficiency and reporting reliability.

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 75,000 CAD - $ 95,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.]

What will you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance
