As a DLC consultant, you will work with a talented team of professionals and make a significant investment in your career. You will help clients navigate critical accounting & finance initiatives from reporting and compliance to forecasting, systems implementations & transformations, process improvements & interim leadership support. As an Accounting & Finance Consultant, you may contribute across several types of engagements depending on client needs, your experience & project scope.
  • M&A Integration Management: Lead Day 1 readiness and post-merger financial integration across accounting, FP&A and treasury functions.
  • Finance Transformation & Process Optimization: Evaluate core financial workflows to standardize, automate, and modernize operations across newly acquired and existing enterprise units.
  • AI & Automation Implementation: Identify and deploy AI-driven solutions (e.g., predictive forecasting, natural language financial reporting, generative AI tools, and automated reconciliations) to optimize FP&A capabilities.
  • Systems Architecture & Data Alignment: Partner closely with IT, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Applications teams to guide ERP implementations, financial data model harmonization, and system consolidation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).
  • FP&A Leadership: Managed day-to-day FP&A budgeting, forecasting, reporting, build consolidated and scenario financial modeling, synergy realization tracking, and cross-functional financial planning to ensure post-acquisition performance targets are met.
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Alignment: Direct governance committees, executive reporting, and cross-functional change initiatives across matrixed business units.


What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area
  • Holds an MBA and/or CPA or in process required
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success leveraging AI, machine learning, or advanced automation tools within finance or FP&A workflows.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERP platforms and implementations
  • Proven track record of executing financial post-merger integrations
  • 8+ years of progressive experience, including years inside a Fortune 1000 company required
  • Experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, reporting, systems, or transformation
  • The ability to adapt quickly across different clients, industries & business needs
  • Strong analytical, project management & communication skills
  • A collaborative approach & confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • A desire to take on meaningful, high-visibility work in a consulting environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $130,000 - $165,000 and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses.
