Finance Supervsior - SumnerPosition Type: Full-time, Salary
Location: In Office; Sumner, WA
Wage Scale: $80,168.40 - $90,000 annually

Responsibilities:- Supervise, train, coach and develop Billing, AP, AR, Credit, and accounting team members.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, provide performance feedback, complete evaluations, and maintain a positive, accountable team environment.
- Oversee daily billing operations to ensure invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with company goals.
- Monitor billing activity, WIP reports, revenue trends, and department performance.
- Resolve billing issues, customer disputes, and escalated account concerns.
- Manage Accounts Payable operations to ensure invoices are processed accurately and paid on time.
- Maintain vendor relationships, resolve payment issues, and maximize payment discounts when available.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and collections activities, including aging reports, collection efforts, and lien-right compliance.
- Support customer service and collections teams with complex customer disputes, credit decisions, and account escalations.
- Assist with bad debt reviews and write-off recommendations.
- Prepare and distribute budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and management reports.
- Analyze financial results, reconciliations, and key performance indicators to support business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, operational efficiency, and financial processes.
- Support senior leadership with reporting, financial analysis, and special projects.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, audit requirements, and safety regulations.
- Abiding by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory. agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

Requirements:- Master's degree, bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a construction, contracting, or building materials environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents such as financial statements, technical journals, and legal documents.
- Ability to negotiate with internal and external sources.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Work, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge with SAP software preferred but not required.
