You are:
A digital finance practitioner who pairs Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and FP&A delivery experience with financial services industry knowledge. You understand how banks, insurers, or capital markets firms plan, forecast, and evaluate performance — and you have hands-on experience moving those processes off spreadsheets and onto connected, AI-enabled platforms.
You are the person who owns the workstream and delivers on outcomes. You translate client requirements into working solutions, lead a delivery team through design and build, and keep senior stakeholders confident in where things stand.
The work:
- Design and deploy agentic FP&A workflows — automated scenario generation, variance flagging, and insight delivery that replace analyst build time
- Lead delivery workstreams within Finance Reinvention engagements — owning scope, timeline, quality, and day-to-day client interaction for your area
- Define Human + Machine operating models — which work humans own, which agents execute, and how handoffs, controls, and escalation paths function
- Work alongside frontier AI providers and EPM platform partners to bring emerging agentic capabilities into client finance functions
- Design and build driver-based planning, rolling forecasting, and variance analytics solutions on leading EPM platforms
- Run requirements gathering, current-state assessment, and target-state design sessions with client finance and technology stakeholders
- Analyze complex financial services data environments — regulatory constraints, actuarial inputs, treasury baselines, segment-level P&L — and translate them into working planning and analytics models
- Manage a delivery team of three or more practitioners; assign work, review output, and develop team members through coaching and feedback
- Own a set of client relationships at the finance manager and director level, and support senior leadership in maintaining executive relationships
- Support proposals and pursuits — developing solution approaches, building estimates, and contributing content
- Contribute to practice assets: reusable models, configuration accelerators, delivery playbooks, and knowledge-sharing across the P&PA capability
Ability to travel up to 25–50%, commensurate with client engagement requirements
Here’s what you need:
- A minimum of 5 years of combined consulting and/or industry experience in finance transformation, FP&A, or EPM — including a minimum of 2 years in a consulting or advisory capacity
- A minimum of 2 years leading delivery teams or workstreams, including assigning work and reviewing output
- Bachelor's degree
Bonus points if:
- You have built or deployed agentic AI workflows within FP&A or core finance — including driver-based scenario automation, variance commentary, or self-service reporting
- You hold a platform certification (Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan Model Builder, or equivalent)
- You have contributed to proposals, RFPs, or solution proofs of concept in a consulting context
- You are familiar with financial services regulatory frameworks that shape finance and planning such as DFAST, CECL, RBC for insurance, or Basel/CRR
- You have experience integrating EPM solutions with ERP or enterprise data platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks)
- You have an MBA or advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- You hold a CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification
- Demonstrated financial services experience — gained through consulting engagements with banks, insurers, or capital markets firms, or through in-house roles within a financial services institution
- At least one full lifecycle EPM implementation, from requirements through deployment
- Hands-on configuration or build experience with one or more EPM platforms: Oracle EPM Cloud, SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, OneStream, or Workday Adaptive Planning
- Practical exposure to AI, GenAI, automation, or advanced analytics applied to a finance process — through a delivered engagement, a proof of concept, or a pilot
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior finance stakeholders
