Finance ManagerPosition Description: The Finance Manager directly manages and coordinates the activities of Sr. Specialist and Specialists in Accounting and Tax. The finance Manager is responsible for work that includes interna/external financial reporting, financial analysis & compliance, workplace/performance/operation management. This role will work closely with other managers, and communicate with headquarter, company as a whole.
Role and Responsibilities:Management Reporting and Advisory:- Advise management on financial matters and the impact of laws and regulations on the organizations.
- Provide expertise and advise to managers to help them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to top executives; preparing financial reports that may include auditor and financial reports, profit and loss, balance sheets, and regulatory reports and filing.
Financial Analysis and Compliance:- Control the company's financial resources and ensure that all financial transition systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards.
- Financial analysis and reporting, taxation, insurance, credit control, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and costs control and budgeting/forecasting.
Workforce Management:- Plan and optimize headcounts for each finance team (Accounting and Tax)
- Manage and respond to employee relation issues regarding finance workforce (Sr. Specialists, Specialists, Assistants).
- Coach and train Sr. Specialists that will supervise to develop professional/general competencies related to finance.
- Appraise the Sr. Specialists' and Specialists' performance and give productive feedback.
- Address complaints and resolve problems of Sr. Specialists and Specialists.
Performance Management:- Get reports on key finance activities/results on a weekly basis.
- Assign and direct work according to accounting plan for each finance team (Accounting and Tax).
- Responsible for achieving, monitoring, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Confer with other managers to coordinate activities in related departments.
- Interpret company policies to Sr. Specialists and Specialists.
- Collect and voice opinions when the revision and/or establishment of new work procedures are needed.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance or another related field.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in Battery, Automotive parts, or automobile industry preferred.
- CPA preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office.
