JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Product Director, with the Forecast Automation and Engineering team, you will leverage your techno-functional expertise to design and implement forecasting models that meet business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring model accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret forecasting processes to design optimized solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and model enhancements (e.g., connecting upstream/downstream calculators, streamlining code base).
  • Collaborate with tech teams, functional partners (P&A, Controllers, Risk), line-of-business partners (Firmwide, Commercial & Investment Bank) and internal stakeholders to align on business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and manage a scorecard of metrics to track success in a multi-dimensional way (e.g., time saved, data pipelines automated, control checks enabled).
  • Deliver on AI agenda (e.g., agentic solutions that automate forecasting-related activities, AI development for discovery) 
  • Articulate  a product vision and strategy to guide development efforts.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for onboarding models onto cloud-based architecture (e.g., Databricks).
  • Leverage JIRA and JIRA Align to align stories, epics, and initiatives to the product roadmap.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product management with a focus on data-driven solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and Python coding.
  • Experience in developing and executing forecasting models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
