Primary Responsibilities
The Department of Economics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for one tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning August 2027. We seek candidates with evidence of successful teaching outcomes in investments and/or corporate finance at both the introductory and upper levels. The finance major is housed in the Department of Economics, which consists of 12 members covering a broad range of fields and interests (including finance and accounting). We have a highly successful Fed Challenge team, active investment and women in economics clubs. Students have access to our 14-terminal Bloomberg Finance Lab in the main library, and department faculty regularly teach using the Bloomberg terminals. The typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester consisting of 2 preparations per semester. We are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship in a diverse liberal arts environment.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD and ABD's near completion will be considered.
