The MissionAre you a capable professional ready to lead from the front? We are looking for a Field Supervisor to act as the vital link between our project management team and our field crews. You won't just be watching from the sidelines; you'll be orchestrating daily operations, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring every installation meets our gold standard for safety and quality.
What You'll Do- Lead the Crew: Supervise small teams of technicians, installers, and subcontractors, usually on active construction sites.
- Command the Field: Coordinate daily schedules, make real-time decisions on-site, and resolve logistical hurdles before they become delays.
- Quality & Safety First: Ensure every project adheres to RF codes, engineering standards, and our rigorous safety manual.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary point of communication between the field, the Project Manager, and the client.
- Report Progress: Keep leadership in the loop with accurate status updates, documentation, and crew productivity metrics.
- Be Flexible: Some weeks you'll be working at a local job site, but most weeks you'll be traveling to sites in our market area across New York, northern New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table- Experience: 5+ years of RF/telecom field experience (preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of telecom installations and applicable codes and the ability to manage quality in the field.
- Leadership: Proven ability to supervise teams, including management of subcontractors.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to think on your feet when field issues arise.
- Physical Readiness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various field conditions.
- Credentials: Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Bonus Points: NICET IB-PSC Technician I, II, or III certification is a major plus.
