Job SummaryLeads field subcontract administration activities from award through closeout, managing subcontractor performance, commercial administration, and change management. Serves as the primary subcontracts representative for project leadership, administering contract terms, processing change orders, and resolving routine commercial issues. Ensures subcontract compliance, risk identification, and timely resolution of routine commercial issues.
Key Responsibilities- Execute subcontract administration activities from award through final closeout.
- Administer subcontract terms and conditions, including notices, correspondence, payment verification, and deliverables tracking.
- Support subcontract review, negotiation, and implementation activities.
- Manage routine subcontractor change orders and commercial issue resolution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and communicate risks, opportunities, and concerns to Project Management and Construction Management teams.
- Track and document subcontractor claims and provide supporting information for claim resolution.
Identify and communicate subcontractor risk and opportunity (R&O) items to Project Managers and Project Controls Managers. - Support subcontractor forecasting, accruals, and cost reporting activities.
- Maintain subcontract documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Build collaborative working relationships with subcontractors and site stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and informal mentoring to less experienced subcontract professionals as needed.
Management ResponsibilitiesSupervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications- 4 year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Business, technical or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required. Field experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of subcontract and procurement processes and exhibits the capacity to effectively self-execute the transactional subcontract process in accordance with established Company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Exhibit appropriate skills at resolving complex commercial terms and conditions issues and other commercial issues through collaboration.
• Possesses a strong knowledge and understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
• Understanding of relevant B&V Processes and Procedures
• General computer skills, Microsoft suite
• Attention to detail
• Ability to independently resolve complex problems in a timely manner, with little guidance from Management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment/Physical DemandsThis position is field-based and requires regular presence at project sites for extended periods of time. Travel is required and may include overnight stays based on business needs and project demands.
