Work flexible hours to meet customer service demands, including nights and weekends

Full Job Description
Field Service Technician
This person will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to assist customers with their Minster supplied equipment, supervising/instructing personnel in setting up equipment in customer plants, and training customer's personnel on proper maintenance and operation of Minster equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, maintenance installation & commissioning of Nidec Minster stamping presses and coil line systems. Occasional work on non-Minster equipment as well
Commission new and remanufactured metal forming equipment in customer's plants
Audit customer's metal forming equipment and report all repair requirements found
Provide written and oral reports in English in an accurate and professional manner
Promote service parts and preventative maintenance contracts
Work flexible hours to support customer service needs including any portion of a 24-hour day 7 days a week

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical/electronic troubleshooting and installation techniques
Capable of performing mechanical press repair or mechanical knowledge of machinery found in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Represent Nidec Minster Corporation effectively in business and social situations as may be required
Able to work effectively with minimum supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Extensive domestic and international travel is required- 90%
