Full Job Description
Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician, Crushing Products to provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $49.60 The listed wage is just one component of our total rewards package, and eligibility to additional premiums may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

  • Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to get the job done right and on time
  • Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Culture
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using testing equipment and leveraging top tier technical skills
  • Maintain quality workmanship to inspect, repair and rebuild crushing & screening equipment within the established time standards out in the field
  • Undertake new equipment installations and commissioning
  • Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits and timely service reporting


Must-haves for this role:

  • Post secondary education in the field of heavy equipment mechanics, industrial mechanics or experienced millwrights
  • 2 years' experience in the maintenance and repair of crushing or screening equipment
  • Work experience in the construction or mining sectors is an asset
  • A valid driver's license is required and willingness to travel within an assigned territory
