The Opportunity

The Field Service Solutions Specialist • Electrical serves as the organization's senior electrical Subject Matter Expert, supporting the full lifecycle of electrical systems used in Integra's mission-critical modular data centers. Embedded within Integra's manufacturing facilities, this role builds deep technical knowledge of equipment leaving the factory and ensures seamless technical support from manufacturing to field deployment. This position provides advanced L2 technical support, leads electrical troubleshooting efforts, reinforces training for Field Service teams, supports factory testing, and serves as the primary electrical technical representative for complex customer and vendor communications. The role helps elevate field capability, improve product reliability, and ensure safe and successful execution of electrical work across all project sites.

What you will do?
  • Serve as the embedded electrical SME at Integra's factories to gain firsthand understanding of electrical assemblies, power distribution systems, controls, and component integration.
  • Support factory testing, FAT procedures, commissioning, and QA verification for electrical equipment before shipment.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams on recurring issues, design improvement opportunities, and field performance insights.
  • Act as the primary L2 electrical technical support escalation point for the Field Service team.
  • Provide remote support for advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic walk-throughs, and corrective action planning.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to assist with complex electrical failures, commissioning challenges, or escalated service events.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and controls documentation to determine root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Support factory-based electrical training for Field Service Technicians, including hands-on instruction, safety practices, and system operation.
  • Travel to job sites to coach technicians, reinforce training, and elevate team competency on new equipment or technologies.
  • Continually update training materials and drive continuous improvement in the Field Service training program.
  • Represent Field Service during complex technical calls with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, project management, and QA teams to resolve systemic electrical issues and improve equipment reliability.
  • Provide technical insight during client walkthroughs, system turnover, or post-installation support as needed.
  • Participate in interviewing and assessing Field Service Technician candidates to ensure strong electrical competency and cultural alignment.
  • Support onboarding by helping integrate new technicians into technical workflows and safety expectations.
  • Oversee and participate in installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems at customer sites when escalation is required.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure system performance aligns with mission-critical reliability expectations.
  • Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and corrective action documentation.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in proper condition.
  • Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70/70E, OSHA requirements, local electrical codes, and Integra's SafeState safety culture.
  • Promote safe work practices, PPE usage, LOTO procedures, and adherence to engineering standards.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of electrical field service, electrical maintenance, commissioning, or industrial installation experience required; data centers or mission-critical environments strongly preferred.
  • Vocational or technical training in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship preferred.
  • Coursework in power systems, controls, or automation preferred.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, L2 troubleshooting, or training for electrical teams preferred.
  • Background working in manufacturing, modular construction, industrial facilities, or high-voltage environments highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and manufacturing teams preferred.
  • Expert-level understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, controls, motors, VFDs, PLC interfaces, and industrial wiring practices.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills with ability to explain complex electrical issues clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide escalation-level troubleshooting and remote diagnostic support.
  • Ability to travel extensively between factories and customer job sites.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Electrical license or journeyman-level certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
  • NFPA 70E training strongly preferred.
