We are seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our additive manufacturing systems, including aerosol jet technology. This mid-level role is ideal for a technically capable professional who enjoys working directly with customers to install, support, and troubleshoot advanced equipment while delivering a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, commission, and validate additive manufacturing systems at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Provide timely customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues
• Document service activities, findings, and recommendations
• Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2-5 years of experience supporting technical equipment in the field or similar environment
• Experience in additive manufacturing, printing technologies, or advanced manufacturing preferred
• Working knowledge of integrated systems (mechanical, electrical, and software)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%
