University Home Care Inc as a Field Registered Nurse in Oakland, MI. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and deliver personalized care that meets each patient's unique needs.
Interviews are going to be in our office located in Livonia.Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of chronic conditions.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
Requirements- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, home health experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Kinnser
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Oakland, MI.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
