Description

We're looking for a passionate and versatile Field Marketing Manager to join our team and lead field marketing initiatives across the US. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll be responsible for building and executing programs that engage prospects, support pipeline, and elevate Upwind's brand presence.

You'll own multiple field marketing programs across the US, helping shape how we show up in key markets. While you'll operate independently day-to-day, you'll be supported by a collaborative global marketing team and cross-functional partners who are invested in your success.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly accountable, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple programs and logistics streams at once.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute field marketing programs across the US, including executive dinners, meetups, workshops, trade shows, partner events, and Upwind-owned activations that directly support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Own event operations end to end, including budgeting, venue sourcing, vendor management, registration, shipments, booth setup, onsite execution, swag, and structured post-event workflows.
  • Partner closely with sales and demand generation to align on business goals, drive attendance, influence pipeline progression, and ensure programs support measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve event calendars, program overviews, documentation, and cross-functional communication to keep stakeholders aligned and accountable.
  • Collaborate with sales on target account and prospect lists, campaign alignment, and targeted outreach to maximize attendance and event impact.
  • Tailor event experiences and messaging for target audiences while staying closely aligned with Upwind's brand, positioning, and customer journey.
  • Execute digital components that support field programs, including invitations, landing pages, email sequences, registration, and follow-up cadences.
  • Track, measure, and report on program performance, including attendance quality, pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, cost efficiency, and ROI.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to refine event strategy, improve operational efficiency, and maximize business impact.
  • Build and strengthen Upwind's presence across key US markets, tech communities, and cloud security audiences through consistent, high-quality, brand-aligned execution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in field or event marketing at a high-growth B2B company, or hospitality industry
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events end to end, including venue coordination, vendor management, registration, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with sales teams to support outreach, prospecting, and pipeline initiatives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable managing shipments, show services, AV coordination, swag, branded materials, and onsite logistics.
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in cross-functional work across sales, marketing, product, design, and leadership.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems quickly.
  • Able to operate with autonomy and accountability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the US and work onsite during event setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes or event materials up to 40 lbs as part of shipping, setup, and teardown responsibilities.
